6-cylinder inline water cooled piston engine, designed at the Societe Piemontese Automobili company in Torino. Those engines were also license built by the Breda company. They were built in three versions, which differed by the compression ratio. It was used in the SVA-4, SVA-5, SVA-9, SVA-10, Ansaldo A-1 Balilla aircraft.
