For a long time the sole Czechoslovak engine for light aircraft. It was the first engine which underwent trials according to new technical requirements imposed by the 1944 Chicago Convention for civil aviation. It was used in the Aero C‑104, Aero Ae‑45, Zlin Z‑26 and Z‑126 aircraft.
