A licence version of the French Gnome-Rhône 14K Mistral Major engine, built by the Walter company to fulfill the demand of the Czechoslovak aviation for a high power engine. It was a successful and reliable design. Production totaled 190 engines. It was used in the AERO MB-2OO bomber aircraft.
